Baumzipfelweg and the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps

A true highlight when hiking in Saalbach Hinterglemm is the Baumzipfelweg and the "Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps". Head high above the treetops on Europe's highest treetop hiking trail. And this is possible 365 days a year in the valley end of Saalbach Hinterglemm.

Past lush alpine meadows and forests, the trail leads up to the Lindlingalm. Here begins the 1 km long Baumzipfelpfad with the "Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps". At a height of up to 42 m, the Baumzipfelweg offers an incomparable panoramic view of Hinterglemm's mountain world.
